On Monday the 11th of September 2017 Hospice Lumina opened its doors to patients for the first time. Our highly qualified staff were ready and waiting for the children and their families who were in such desperate need of the respite and care the team can offer.

Hospice Lumina will not only serve the Children of Bacau county but children living in the three surrounding counties also.

Our fully trained staff of Doctors, nurses, carers, physio therapists, social workers and housekeeping staff, all help keep Hospice Lumina running as it serves the children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses.

We offer respite care and end of life care whenever it is required by a patient or their family.

Hospice Lumina compliments the Casa Albert Community team perfectly and the two teams are working together beautifully to create a multidisciplinary team that totally integrates the care for the patient and families that we reach out to.
